i just keep telling myself to be patient. that whatever i’m waiting and working for will be greater, better than everything else i’m comparing me and my situations with in the present. that in the end, it’ll all be worth it, regardless of the bountiful amounts of beautiful things everyone else around me seem to be holding in their arms today.
i have a love-hate relationship with stats.

lately.
(semi-)writers’ block. i’ve been hoarding a billion drafts i don’t find good enough to post yet can’t bring myself to delete either. they need clarity. an extraordinary thought strikes me in the middle of doing something, a mediocre or failing attempt to write it down (and a large drafts folder) results.

please be more attentive. people aren’t dumb. they don’t answer questions for nothing. if you don’t really want to know, just don’t ask. don’t use them just to fill space. say things only if you mean it. if you have something better to do, go do it, instead of this, anything but this. the acting gets you nowhere. your true motives and attitude toward them still shine...

4 days, 3 nights. felt way longer.
lots of shopping, crazy windy weather (and a power outage) in a town by Spokane, a really dumb horror movie + The Hang Over II, Pike Place Market + a contribution to the infamous Gum Wall, memorable meals at Crab Pot downtown Seattle and our hotel’s buffet.
glad to be home!
